Default Opinions and Advice gratefull :)

Well i've been running this hero setup for awhile now and its been great to use in almost any campaign. But i'm never satisfied and was curious to know what people thought and how it could be improved better, assuming it can be.

[Hayda;OQCjUqnK6OrbNMHuC3jfxxY5NA]
[Koss;OQMT0mILZCUzqYvqTbSE25k4uBA]
[Dunkoro;OwUTMmGD5JuuRyI01PydLDITAA]

Depending on the situation i sometimes swap [skill]Aria of Zeal[/skill] for [skill]Zealous Anthem[/skill] for some extra relief during fights. She hasn't got any spear skills but i sort of use her purely for relief and support, not really for tanking. And since i'm a Ranger i can spread the conditions and spike damage pretty well.

The two Monk signets on Koss are always disabled, their just place fillers to make use of [skill]Symbolic Strike[/skill].

And my goal for Dunk was to use quick, low energy cost and spammable heals to make use of his energy more efficiently instead of using it all up after 4 or 5 skills.

So what do people think? Good, bad or ugly builds?

They looks like they will get you so far, but they do need quite a lot of work.

Firstly, your para is the only one causing burning, yet you have ToF! in there. Id swap it for something like [Spear Of Lightning]/[Vicious Attack] or another attack skill. Id also be inclined to stick another attack skill in place of aria of zeal, but thats up to you. Leadership works best at even attributes, so I'd reduce that to 10 and redistribute the points.

Its well documented that warrior heroes are problematic. They flee erratically from AoE and change targets unpredictably. Which is why I would suggest replacing this hero altogether. Another Para is a nice DPS replacement, try cruel spear, this is the build I use:

[build prof=P/any name="Cruel Spear Para" box SpearMastery=12+1+1 Leadership=9+1 Command=9+1][Cruel Spear][Barbed Spear][Wild Throw]["Go For The Eyes!"]["Stand Your Ground!"]["Fall Back!"][Aggressive Refrain][Signet Of Return][/build]

On your monk, Id suggest replacing orison with something like [Cure Hex] and replace power drain with [Glyph Of Lesser Energy]. Also, try [Resurrection Chant] instead of rebirth, seeing as you have no points invested in Prot.

Seeing as the role of a monk can usually be adequately played out by a hench monk, you might want to try replacing him altogether with either a Curses necro, signet mesmer or a Jagged Bones MM:

[build prof=N/Rt name="Curses Nec" box Curses=12+1+1 SoulReaping=12+1 Restorationmagic=3][Spiteful Spirit][Reckless Haste][Enfeebling Blood][Barbs][Rip Enchantment][Pure Was Li Ming][Signet Of Lost Souls][Flesh Of My Flesh][/build]

[build prof=Me/Mo name="Artificer Mesmer" box SmitingPrayers=12 FastCasting=10+1 Inspiration=10+1+1 Dom=2][Signet Of Judgment][Castigation Signet][Bane Signet][Leech Signet][Signet Of Distraction][Hex Eater Signet][Mantra Of Inscriptions][Succor][/build]

[build prof=N/Mo name="Jagged MM" box DeathMagic=12+1+3 SoulReaping=9+1 Prot=9][Jagged Bones][Death Nova][Blood Of The Master][Animate Bone Minions][Guardian][Aegis][Signet Of Lost Souls][Protective Spirit][/build]

How does Koss's build work? I see a lot of adrenal skills that add damage based on the foe having a deep wound, but the only skill that inflicts deep wound also drains all adrenaline. By the time he builds back up, the target is probably dead.

Also, dedicating 1/4 of his bar to add damage to symbolic strike is a waste. Surely there are skills that could be used there (res sig)

why not replace the two signets with something you can actually use?

death pact signet, remedy signet, signet of aggression, signet of return, antidote signet, dolyak signet (probably will have to micro it), healing signet, res sig all come to mind.

All are ugly, but the Monk build can be improved by changing Power Drain to GoLE.

This is a much better Motigon than your Motigon, since your Motigon lacks some things to deal big domage.
[build prof=P/W name="Motigon" box mot 9+1 tac 7 spe 11+1 lea 9+1][song of restoration][ballad of restoration][aggressive refrain]["watch yourself!"]["shields up!"][spear of lightning][mending refrain][optional][/build]

SoR -> Ballad -> SoR to keep AR up.

Your Warrior build is also quite bad, because it lacks an IAS, and...really all the skills in it are bad.
Symbolic Strike requires bar fillers to be effective.
Signet of Strength is extremely weak.
Decapitate kills your energy and adrenaline, so you can't complete your...*combo*.
Signet of Reju is good, but Healing Prayers, and the vast majority of most spells are bad on a Warrior.
And using bar fillers to power 1 skill is also bad.

Cheers for the opinions and advice guys, changed a few things with the suggestions provided. I knew the builds could be better, just been having a horrible mental block lately when it comes to GW and designing builds.

If it isn't too much hassle is it possible for someone to provide an Axe focused build for Koss? Still having a little trouble making an effective one.

For an Axe focused build I recommend a Triple Chop build or a Eviscerate build. In case you need the Eviscerate build this is the build:

- Eviscerate
- Executioner Strike
- Agonizing / Penetrating Chop (pick the one of your choice )
- Cyclone Axe
- utility skill of your choice ( Body Blow for more spike damage, Distracting Blow for interruption, Mending Touch for removing conditions or Plague Touch to transfer condition to target foe)
- Flail
- Enraging Charge
- Resurrection Signet or a hard res of your choice

I hope this will help you

When I take a warrior hero, it's something like this:

[triple chop][cyclone axe][executioner's strike][for great justice][flail][lion's comfort]

Just fill in the rest with like a rez/Anti KD or whatever you need.

I dont honestly know alot about paragons.

Koss is terrible. basicially every skill on that bar is crap and the melee AI for heroes is godawful. lose him, sorry.

the monk seems alright, but trade orison for ethreal light and words of comfort and rebirth for a condition and hex removal
